This
historical General Declaration dated September 9, 1970, is by courtesy of our
Homaie friend Hamlet Petrosian. In his letter that accompanied this document, he
writes: "...
this was the last flight of students returning to USA from Iran. The aircraft
returning empty of passengers, but full of company cargo like aircraft spare
parts and catering equipment and only crew on board. Our flight route was JFK
which we used Pan Am famous terminal, to London LHR airport and via Moscow to
Tehran. We
arrived to Moscow at around 2am as technical stop for refuelling, I got off the
aircraft as curiosity, and I saw nothing as it was totally dark and no one
except few guards with machine guns, and that was my tour in Moscow, I run back
into the airplane."

Capt. Amir
Kasravi, the first of a group of selected young men to be trained as pilot
exclusively for Iran Air. Circa 1966.

Capt. Fereydoon Aryan, another member of the selected
